Santiago was a disappointment for the most part - too much city and couldn't find the music I expected. Besides, the entrance of every bank or market there was an attendant with bottles of disinfectant to ward off a cholera outbreak threatening from people living in the ruins of hurricane Sandy (late December 2012). I left as soon as I could.
