Postscript

Several friends and my sons were worried about how my travels take me to places like this. I assured them that I'm not about to go anywhere that would put me in imminent danger! Terrorist attacks put everybody on edge, but they can happen anywhere. It depends on where the craziness breaks out. I guess one just has to live considering this and be ready for anything. Deep down I think sanity (in the form of democratic values, the rule of law - and I don't mean Sharia law -  and individual freedom) will prevail, not that these are all that pure and perfect.
