Just when I arrived, the Christian Easter coincided with the Greek Orthodox Easter, so I got to see the Good Friday religious parade in Heraklion.

This altar made slow progress through the streets, as it is the custom to duck under it for whatever blessings/luck/good fortune this act might bring.
